This was taken to-day's afternoon, just as the sun had disappeared behind the hill to the right. The now famous view from our veranda.
A little earlier this afternoon I noticed a helicopter sounding nearby, and found this one standing absolute calm in the air. Someone hanging in a line and obviously doing a work on the pylon beneath. Fascinating!

Beautiful shots! I really like the second snap with the smoke rising from the chimney. It looks so welcoming.
