Borte bra, men hjemme best.

Slik ser det ut gjennom kjøkkenvinduet vårt nå. Det er litt juks, for de som har fulgt med på bloggen har sett bilde av den haugen som er under snøen. Men fint er det i alle fall, synes jeg.


Og utsikten fra verandaen på den andre siden er herved oppdatert. Nydelig sol og minus 5 grader i skrivende stund. Var nærmere minus 20 i natt, så sola begynner tydeligvis å virke på temperaturen.

Dagen etter hjemkomst (d.v.s. torsdag) var vi en tur på Mylla for å inspisere skiforholdene. Brøytet parkeringsplass og flotte skiløyper! Her er en nydelig hytteidyll som jeg bare måtte knipse.

Myllavannet - klart til bruk! Var ute og kjøpte skidress til Håkon i går. Så nå er det bare å bli kvitt det lille halsondet som meldte seg allerede dagen før avreise fra Kypros. Det går visst mye halsgreier her i distriktet også, noe langvarige greier som kommer og går.

Tid for tulipaner! Fikk disse av min mann, og de lyser så fint opp i stua. Mesteparten av mine potteplanter har jo "tatt kvelden" mens vi var borte. Hadde ikke så veldig mange, og ville ikke bry noen når det ble såpass lenge. Men novemberkaktusene (kjøpte en til før jul) har klart seg.

SkyWatch Friday no. 33.

Finally we are back home after 10 weeks on Cyprus. And it was not bad at all to come to the cold and snow - just wonderful. The last morning on Cyprus my husband caught this sunrise. A nice goodbye for this time.

And of course I had to catch the sky from above. Here are two of the great series that I got.

SkyWatch Friday no. 32

Taken this last week on a trip along the promenade by the sea, short time before the sunset here on Cyprus. Our stay here is going to it's end - first coming wedensday we go back home.

SkyWatch Friday no. 31.

Here is another sunset from Cyprus - from this last week. It seems there is no end of beautiful variations in sunsets and sunrises her. But now there is only 10 days left of our stay here for this time. Then we go back to the snow and really cool weather. And I think it is all right!

SkyWatch Friday no. 30.

The weather has been changing a lot here on Cyprus in December and January, seems now to have been more stabile, like Norwegian summer. This morning I caught this sunrise from our veranda about 06.45 a.m. It has moved a little since my first pic of this sunrise (to the left of the picture).



This next picture is taken a couple of weeks ago on a bicycle trip, looking for a suiteable place for my husband to take a swimming trip. This ficherman held out for a while, but resigned and went away as the rain and wind increased.

My husband found his swimming place (to the right in the background), and coming up to me having found a shelter under a roof nearby.

SkyWatch no. 29

Taken last week on a bicycle trip to find a suitable place for a swimming trip for my husband. (Not for me!) He found it! Has been a good portion of this weather lately - and we don'nt bring rainwear with us. Impossible to find in the stores as well. But we do'nt complain - they need the water!
